At Love Your Flock, we offer non-veterinary health and wellness checks for chickens, ducks, and turkeys in the Hudson Valley. These visits are designed to help you spot early signs of illness, track changes in your flock’s condition, and support the daily well-being of your birds.

We are not veterinarians and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. However, we can provide experienced observations, husbandry recommendations, and guidance on when veterinary care may be needed.

• Visual health assessment (eyes, beak, feet, comb, vent, feather condition)

• Observation of movement, posture, and social behavior

• Basic weight check (if birds are handleable)

• Nail or beak trims if needed (and permitted)

• Coop & environment check for red flags (cleanliness, airflow, predator risks)

• Personalized notes and recommendations for follow-up care

• Option to assist you in finding and preparing questions for an avian vet
